The design is high efficiency swithcing technology, which ensures the maximal battery life. The tiny convereter body is made of aluminium sheet. It is equipped with two mounts for screws, fuse case (1,5A fuse), red pilot light indicating the operation, 2m feed cable and two connectors - one for the PDA datacable (RJ-12) and one for the flight recorder or another instrument (RJ-45). Both PDA datacable and flight recorder datacable are included in this product. The installation is very easy - you just plug the feed cable into the board net and connect the PDA with power supply by the PDA cable and the flight recorder with power supply by the second cable. It is not possible to mismatch the cables by mistake, the connectors are different. We recommend to add one more 1,5A fast fuse in front of the feed cable. Our standard offer includes iPAQ PDA cable with 12pin connector (iPAQ 31xx, 36xx, 37xx), iPAQ PDA cable with 22pin connector (iPAQ 38xx and almost all latter models), FS Loox PDA 26pin connector (FS Loox n520 n560 n600 n620 n720 and Compatible) and flight recorder cables for all common IGC approved flight recorders - RJ-12 (Colibri, LX-20 2000), RJ-45 (Volkslogger, Erixx), RS-232 (LX-20, LX21).

The Power Supply with
datatransfer enables you to power the PDA device by 5V voltage directly
from the 12V board power net and to connect the PDA with another instrument (flight recorder, variometer, FLARM). It is intended for PDA devices, which don´t have integrated GPS or additional GPS module and have to be connected to the source of GPS data.
